The Art Museum

As a student at FAU in Boca Raton I thoroughly enjoyed visiting the Museum. Included in the collections are always new artists and traveling shows. One of my favorite shows was that on "Hensen." He is a very famous wax artist and is well know all over the world. There display and curation of his work was excellent providing me with ample enjoyment for one of my gallery reports that I did on him for class. The Boca Raton is a must see in Boca Raton.

There are constantly changing exhibits of varied art media. The permanent collection contains 19th and 20th century American and European ArtThe works of Degas, Matisse and Picasso are includedThe history of Photography is well represented , lantern slides, tintypes, and of course photographsThere are many lithographs, silk screen prints and etchings on display. There is also small movie theater where Art movies are shown.There is also a very interesting museum shop.
