New Horizon Academy was established in 1993. The mission of the school has been to provide quality education in a structured family environment. The school operates very much the same as in any traditional setting. There are seven periods in the day and the students change class every fifty minutes. Students usually take four required courses and two electives. The seventh period is built in to accommodate tutoring and to provide help with any homework.
